Mentoring

For some students, issues are not subject-specific but related to their own motivation, confidence and frame of mind. Working with our students we can unlock these obstacles and encourage them to take ownership of their work, regaining motivation to succeed. A mentor will be selected who specialises in a student’s core subjects and is therefore able to oversee and implement application of all other techniques whilst enhancing subject-specific content.  Students thus benefit from content knowledge, our organisational framework, revision and exam preparation whilst maintaining an ongoing relationship with one tutor. Mentors are also able to advise students on wider choices such as subject selection, personal statements and university and career options.
